| Bio: | It was the season of the red moon. The quickly passing sultry nights when the high silver orb in the heavens ran completely crimson...and the waves would roll high, and those who felt it would stand knee-deep in the tide, and watch the moving stars.
She called it The Blood Moon.
When every mystical breath of the earth was completely expelled, vibrating the very atmosphere. The time of the living, and the dead. The time of the Witch.
Tia Dalma found herself the busiest during the Blood Moon. The voodoo priestess, a light low tune in her mouth, was currently filling a large clay jar with powdery ashes, large bits of charred bone scattered with it. The remains of some poor beast to be used another day. She sighed and fit it upon a high shelf. She had no moment to spare in her cleaning, another soul would soon be at her door. Someone she knew, she was sure of it. She swept the rest away, leaving a white chalk circle on the dirty wooden floor of her swamp hut. Another vengence spell. Tia tired of them, mortals and their never-ending hate and misery. Their thirst for retribution, even with her warnings, they never understand...
Fools. All of them. Every last one, men and women alike. Foolish with their hearts especially. She would often tell her love-sick customers, "Careful de tings ye wish wit ye heart. Ye might find it under de sand one day." They never understood what she meant, of course..but she did. She knew how powerful a mortal feeling could be, what it could create, and destroy...who it could harm...what it could harm..
Tia sat at her cluttered table, scraps of cloth and herbs about, along with her blessed trinkets for map-readings. Various pieces of jewelry...a sash..and a hat. One she would very soon return to it's owner. And the music box. With the tune he wrote so long ago. She moved the hat to the shelf behind her to look properly at the tiny machine. The tides moved with the moon, but she knew something was coming. She scooped up the claws and the beads, shaking them in her hands, a gentle chant on her lips. Something very bad was going to happen...the world was not what it once was.
As she was reading, her door swung so gently open. A wide grin spread her face as the offender stepped inside her home. "Jack Sparrow..."
